Ramen Keisuke, a wildly popular ramen chain in Singapore, is set to launch its eighth new concept outlet Ginza Tendon Itsuki here this June. Located in Tanjong Pagar, this new 24-seater outlet is Ramen Keisuke chain’s first concept in collaboration with the highly acclaimed Ginza Itsuki Sushi restaurant in Tokyo, Japan.
Fans and customers can now look forward to authentic Japanese Tendon – Special Tendon (Tempura Rice Bowl, $13.90) and Vegetable Tendon (Vegetable Tempura Rice Bowl, $12.90) creations, available here for the first time. Together with Mr Keisuke Takeda’s childhood friend and chef-owner of Ginza Itsuki Sushi - Mr Naoki Takaku, these Tendon creations are crafted using the freshest ingredients and will be served in porcelain bowls by Arita – a 400-year-old porcelain brand from Japan.
This is the fourth outlet to join neighbouring Ramen Keisuke outlets such as Keisuke Tori King, Keisuke Gyoza King and Takeda Shouten Sake Bar - the first bar concept under Ramen Keisuke, located at Orchid Hotel.
Similar to any Yoko Chou (横丁) in Japan where one can find a stretch of many comfort food restaurants in the Soul Food District found in the small alley of any town and major city in Japan, these four Ramen Keisuke outlets that are located within a short walk from one to another, will form the first-ever Keisuke Yoko Chou in Singapore.
Resembling the spirit and atmosphere where people from all walks of life savour Japanese comfort food and drinks, the Keisuke Yoko Chou will introduce Yoko Chou-styled dining destination in Singapore where friends and loved ones gather and celebrate life with Japanese cuisine and culture.
In line with the philosophy of Ramen Keisuke chain that strives to present authentic and affordable Japanese cuisine using quality ingredients, Tendon, otherwise known as Tempura Rice Bowl, is often regarded as delightful one-bowl soul food meals for many Japanese around the world especially during summer. This new offering will add another dimension to its Japanese soul food offering that includes its well-known brand of ramen creations here in Singapore.
Having recently celebrated its 5th year anniversary here in Singapore, Ramen Keisuke is set to launch his very first local flavor ramen - Ramen Keisuke “Laksa Ramen Special” in celebration of SG50 and its Tonkotsu King outlet anniversary this August. As with previous years, proceeds will be donated to Tanjong Pagar community and the underprivileged.
